• USEFUL FOR CAR OWNERS: The OBDCheck BLE+ is a small and practical OBD2 diagnostic tool which can work with various third-party Apps to achieve different functions. What functions you can get mainly depends on the chosen App and your vehicle. Please read the “Instructions for use” & “User guide (containing App & vehicle compatibility information)” on the detail page “Product guide and documents” before purchase or use. NOTE: NOT compatible with pre-2008 models or G series (including 2018+ 3 Series, 2017+ X3, 2017+ 5 Series, 2019+ X5, etc.) when used with BimmerCode; Not suitable for pre-2008 models for BimmerLink.
• DEVICE COMPATIBILITY - Compatible with iOS via Bluetooth LE (do NOT connect with the device in iOS Bluetooth Settings; please connect directly in the OBD2 Apps) & Android devices via Classic Bluetooth (head units may not be compatible; for some Android phones in recent years, it may not show as connected after pairing but you can still start the App to connect). For detailed iOS and Android connection & troubleshooting guide, please refer to the fifth product image or user instructions.
• ENGINE DIAGNOSTIC CHECK (core capabilities for OBD II compliant vehicles) – By utilizing standard OBD II applications like Car Scanner ELM OBD2 (refer to image 2 for additional compatible applications), users can access and delete engine diagnostic trouble codes, examine freeze frame data, assess I/M readiness, and monitor real-time sensor data (including generic OBD PIDs such as O2 levels, engine coolant/oil temperature, mass airflow rate, fuel rail pressure, and fuel trim). This functionality aids in resolving basic engine issues.
• DO MORE (advanced functions for selected vehicles, see product image 3 for details) – When used with more professional Apps (usually requires sperate purchase), you can get advanced features like enhanced diagnostics and manufacturer-specific PIDs (such as transmission temperature, oil pressure) on selected vehicles, examine the battery in hybrid & electric vehicles, customize selected vehicles, etc.
• Note: currently there is no Veepeak App coming with this device; third-party Apps are required but not included and requires separate download or purchase from Play Store or App Store (depending on your vehicle and needs); NOT compatible with Bluedriver, FIXD, Carly, MHD, xHP, ProTool Apps. Beware of low-quality apps with confusing names!
• VEHICLE COMPATIBILITY – Compatible with model year 1996 or newer cars and light trucks in the US and other OBD II/ EOBD compliant vehicles in other regions for generic check engine light diagnostic functions. For hybrid plug-in and electric vehicles, please check Car Scanner ELM OBD2 App and see if there is a suitable EV connection profiles, or other Apps designed specifically for EVs.
